SHOW TITLE: A Christmas show about goodwill
Today I have a sad but also very inspiring story about an extraordinary lady named Jenny Roberts. There are far too few stories about incredible people like Jenny. Read on . . .
On the December 23rd 2017 she lost her brother who was found dead sleeping rough in West London in England. Jenny vowed his death would not be in vain and has just recently taken her 60th homeless person off the streets and into quality housing through her foundation Homeless Worldwide … all this in less than two years . She also unveiled a plaque on one of the buildings baring her brothers name. What a wonderful way to remember your brother.
Jenny has engaged celebrity Ambassadors, produced a music single with a host of talent to raise funds and she has travelled internationally to seek sponsorship and endorsement. Jenny has also garnered a lot of media which as helped her cause.
She is very aware that this year upwards of 53,000 people will be experiencing the ‘festive’ period on the streets of the Greater Los Angeles area . However while the pain of losing her brother at such a poignant time of year will never be erased she can look to the immense success in her mission to take as many people off the streets as possible and prepare them to be reintegrated into society which of course has to be the long term goal .
