SHOW TITLE: Are Apps dead?
My guest Richard Pink is president of Pink’s Hot Dogs, Inc. a landmark hot dog stand located in Hollywood, which serves over 2,000 hot dogs a day. Pink’s was started 70 years ago by Richard’s parents, Paul and Betty Pink. In 1984 Richard and his wife took over the operations of Pink’s from Richard’s parents. Since that time, they have created over 30 combinations of hot dogs and over a dozen combinations of hamburgers to satisfy the variety of tastes of its loyal patrons who include many movie and TV stars. Pink’s has recently expanded through licensing arrangements into locations throughout the US. But there is more to Richard than hotdogs. Apart from being a fellow member of METal, he is also an attorney, and holds an MBA from USC and a Bachelor’s degree from UCLA. He is currently a Managing Director of Clarion Partners, a real estate investment management firm with $24 Billion under management.
