Most people have seen the Tupac hologram performed at Coachella in 2012. The technology is amazing, bringing performers that have passed away back to life. I was fortunate to have been invited to the Hologram theater in Hollywood to meet David Nussbaum who is one of the foremost experts with the technology in the world. Hologram USA is celebrating its 5th anniversary in February. Hologram USA is famous for bringing late icons back to posthumously perform while beaming living legends around the world. We beam the best of the world to the rest of the world- and can beam anyone from anywhere to anywhere else in real time.
I was very fortunate to be invited to meet David and see how it all works and watch a wide variety of holograms. It was really fantastic. David Nussbaum is a lovely guy with an amazing history. He has worked in the television, radio, and media industry for 20 years with a focus in the hologram space for over 5 years.
David’s hologram highlights include the Juan Gabriel and Jenni Rivera digital resurrection memorial concerts as well as special event contracts with Sony Pictures, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, Universal Studios, NBC’s The Voice, The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, Christian Dior, and The National Comedy Center among others. Since beginning his work in the hologram field, David has been seen domestically and internationally on Good Morning America, CNN, NBC, FOX, CBS, Azteca-TV, Univision-TV, Telemundo, CCTV, Discovery Channel, USA Today, AFP, and Netflix, heard on NPR and The Howard Stern Show, and quoted in Popular Mechanics, Rolling Stone, New York Times, and Billboard Magazine just to name a few.
