SHOW TITLE: What An Entrepreneur Can Achieve With No Money, But Lots Of Vision, Determination And Commitment
Just a short 5 months ago my guest, William Nobrega was living in an oversized shoebox in Hong Kong with no windows and practically no furniture or amenities. Like many other entrepreneurs, William was highly qualified, held key positions at Deloitte and had been a member of the Special Forces, but had just come out of a failed startup with no money, no assets, and no credit cards. But William didn’t feel sorry for himself, despite his pretty wretched environment he spent his time evaluating opportunities. He looked at the procession of ecommerce companies that had disrupted Legacy companies with huge success, Apple, Amazon, Netflix, Uber and a number of others. William realized that when confronted with an e-commerce competitor, Legacy companies simply cannot compete. William determined that the next big legacy industry ripe for disruption was the Insurance business.
