SHOW TITLE: The Key To Launching A Startup In A Foreign Country
My guest Terry Drayton loves entrepreneurship and thinks it’s very important for our society and country, especially as a gateway to upward mobility and overall prosperity. Terry has spent the last 29 years doing 9 startups and was an investment banker before that helping other entrepreneurs raise money. After his third start-up he went back to school to become an entrepreneurship professor but didn’t finish it, instead doing my fourth startup. I’m a 15 year volunteer, teacher, mentor, judge and board member at the University of Washington’s Buerk Center for Entrepreneurship. Terry is the CEO of his new startup, Storrage in Seattle and he is living proof that you don’t need an education to be a successful entrepreneur. His English teacher would be horrified because he spelled his company name storage with two R’s. S T O R R A G E. Storrage is a brilliant idea and is an Uber like business model that has the potential to disrupt the $20 billion plus self storage industry.
